Technical Requirements Must have expertise in the entire range of backup products from any two OEMs (Netbackup, EMC Networker/Avamar , IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, HP Data Protector,Commvault) Knowledge on OEM products for version upgrade, Application,DB mail server Agent, BMR,Storage devices (Libraries, VTL technologies), Deduplication, encryption,CDP,Archival solution,reporting and alert management tools Technical knowledge on ACLS, NDMP ,LANfree environment ,snapshot ,flashcopy , CDP ,storage tieing concepts. Troubleshoot Issues related to backup, performance issue Data Life cycle management & implementation Should have extensive knowledge on project management and help PM team to achieve defined milestones Experience in handling enterprise customers and capable of leading Transformation,



Migration & Transition projects Perform Product Evaluation and Proof of Concept
Identify risk factors in the deployed customer workplace -- develop SIP and propose solution for mitigation Scripting skills to automate and extract reports, capacity, performance statistics and recommend improvement plan Documentation : Prepare POC, white papers ,Project plan, solution design documents , checklist, tasklist and reports formats for the project Identify risk areas and suggest mitigation plan and work with Project management team Ability to define the road map for Backup infrastructure.
