Role & responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python.
- Work with automation frameworks such as Selenium, PyTest, and unittest.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Automate web application testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Design and implement reusable test scripts and automation frameworks.
- Identify, document, track, and report software defects.
- Analyze test results and prepare test execution reports.
- Perform API testing using Python libraries such as Requests.
- Validate databases using SQL queries and verify data accuracy.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business teams to resolve issues.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Maintain test documentation, test cases, and test data.
- Troubleshoot test failures and improve automation coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies,



including sprint planning and defect review meetings.

Preferred candidate profile

python programming fundamentals and OOP concepts.

- Selenium WebDriver and web automation.
- PyTest or unittest testing frameworks.
- Manual testing concepts and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Functional, regression, and API testing.
- SQL and database validation.
- Git and version control.
- Basic knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility Criteria

- B.E./B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, or a relevant qualification.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply, depending on the job requirements.
- Basic knowledge of Python programming and software testing concepts.
- Positive communication skills, logical reasoning, and attention to detail.
