Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
- Build and optimize backend components, scripts, APIs, and data-processing workflows.
- Apply OOP principles and software development best practices.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and database operations.
- Work with MySQL and/or MongoDB, depending on project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, improve application performance, and ensure code quality.
- Support banking and financial services applications related to risk, regulatory reporting, trading, collateral, or capital markets.

Preferred candidate profile

- 512 years of IT experience with solid hands-on Python development.
- Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of OOP concepts and design principles.
- Solid SQL and database knowledge, preferably MySQL.
- MongoDB experience is preferred for the Python Developer + MongoDB position.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with application development, database optimization, and production support.
