Position: Video Editor

Cassidy Cosmetics Pvt Ltd. is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to create engaging content for our beauty, perfume, and corporate brands. You should be comfortable editing everything from social media reels and lead generation ads to long-form YouTube videos.

Key Responsibilities

* Edit Instagram and Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos.

* Create lead generation reels, promotional videos, and sales ads with strong hooks, clear product benefits, and effective calls to action.

* Edit product showcases, brand model videos, UGC content, testimonials, interviews, and corporate or event footage.

* Turn raw footage into engaging stories through strong pacing, shot selection, and creative editing.

* Add subtitles, animated text, motion graphics, transitions, and suitable visual effects.

* Handle colour correction, colour grading, audio cleanup, voiceover synchronisation, music, and sound design.

* Adapt videos for vertical, square, and horizontal formats.

* Create different versions of hooks, video lengths, and calls to action for ad testing.

* Design supporting reel covers and YouTube thumbnails when required.

* Coordinate with the social media manager,



videographer, and brand models to execute content briefs.

* Organise footage and project files, handle revisions, and meet deadlines.

* Use feedback and video performance insights to improve future edits.

Required Skills

* Solid proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or an equivalent professional editing tool.

* Working knowledge of After Effects or an equivalent motion graphics tool.

* Understanding of editing styles for Meta Reels, YouTube, promotional content, and lead generation campaigns.

* Strong sense of storytelling, timing, typography, music selection, and visual composition.

* Attention to detail when checking captions, branding, product names, prices, and offers.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

* A portfolio demonstrating short-form and long-form video editing.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with beauty, perfume, fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce content.

* Familiarity with Photoshop, Canva, and AI-assisted editing tools.

* Ability to edit Hindi and English content; Gujarati understanding is a plus.

* Understanding of audience retention, watch time, and creative testing.
