About the Role

You will teach B.Tech students in NIAT's Robotics specialization through theory, labs and projects in Applied IoT and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR). Your goal is for students to graduate able to build, debug and deploy real robotic systems, with work that meets industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver theory and hands-on sessions aligned to the NIAT curriculum.
- Teach Applied IoT: ESP32-S3, sensors and actuators, communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART), MQTT, cloud dashboards and GenAI integration.
- Teach AMR: ROS 2, URDF and simulation (Gazebo/Isaac Sim), computer vision, sensor fusion, SLAM, Nav2 path planning and autonomous navigation.
- Dry-run every session before delivery, checking slides, lab guides, code, hardware kits and simulation environments.
- Design and evaluate assessments: lab practicals, quizzes, project reviews and viva.
- Mentor student projects, capstones and national robotics competitions.
- Track student progress and run doubt-clearing sessions, with extra support for students who are struggling.
- Share classroom feedback with the curriculum team and coordinate with other campus faculty to keep delivery consistent.

Must-Have

- B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E in ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Mechatronics, CSE or a related field.
- 02 years of hands-on experience in robotics, embedded systems or IoT, in industry, research or teaching.
- Strong Python, plus working C/C++ for microcontrollers.
- Hands-on ROS 2 experience on Linux (Ubuntu).
- Experience with microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32 or Arduino), sensors and basic electronics debugging.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to undergraduate students.

Good to Have

- Experience with SLAM, Nav2, OpenCV or sensor fusion on real hardware such as LiDAR, IMUs or depth cameras.
- Experience with Gazebo, Isaac Sim or Webots.
- Experience with Raspberry Pi, Jetson, micro-ROS or MQTT and cloud platforms.
- Prior teaching, TA or mentoring experience.
- Participation in robotics competitions, or publications.

What We Look For in Your Application

- GitHub, a project portfolio or project videos showing robots or systems you have built.
- The selection process includes a technical interview and a demo teaching session.

Why Join

- Teach in well-equipped robotics labs with real hardware, not just simulation.
- Join a fast-growing robotics program operating across NIAT's multi-campus network.
- Grow into curriculum ownership, lead faculty or R&D; roles.

Job Overview

- Job Type: Full time
