Position: Designer CAD (Foundry Tooling)

IMW Engineering Private Limited is expanding its Design & Engineering team and is looking for talented CAD Designers with hands-on experience in Foundry Tooling Design.

Key Responsibilities

- Design foundry tooling for processes such as No-Bake Moulding, High-Pressure Moulding, Shell Moulding, Lost Foam, Investment Casting.
- Create accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Optimize tooling designs for manufacturability, cost, quality, and performance.
- Provide engineering and design support during tooling trials, development, modifications, and corrections.
- Review customer drawings, 3D models,



and technical specifications before starting tooling design.

Qualifications & Skills

- B.E. Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or ITI Draughtsman.
- 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in foundry tooling design.
- Freshers with strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering, CAD, and casting processes are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD software and 2D/3D modelling.
- Valuable understanding of casting processes, pattern design, tooling methods, and foundry layout principles.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Practical understanding of manufacturing feasibility and tooling development will be an advantage.
