Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting and cutting clips, and creating cohesive narratives aligned with project objectives and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include editing videos for multiple formats, adding motion graphics and visual elements, performing basic color correction and grading, and preparing final exports for web and social media platforms. The role involves close collaboration with producers, designers, and other creative team members to refine concepts, maintain consistent visual style, and meet deadlines.

Editor will also organize and manage media assets, follow file naming conventions, and contribute ideas to improve overall content quality.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in video production and video editing, including working with different footage types and editing timelines.
- Proficiency in video color grading and basic color correction to maintain visual consistency and quality.
- Experience with motion graphics and graphics to enhance storytelling and brand identity.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Good understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, and export settings for digital and social media platforms.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, accept feedback constructively, and iterate quickly.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and reliability in meeting project deadlines.
- Relevant coursework or a degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field is beneficial; prior portfolio showcasing video work is strongly preferred.
