Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:
- Lead the design of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) to create detailed models and drawings.
- Develop 3D prototypes, evaluate design feasibility, and iterate on designs to optimize performance.

- Engineering Analysis:

- Conduct simulations and analyses (e.g., stress, thermal, fluid dynamics) to ensure designs meet safety, performance, and durability standards.
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex design problems, considering factors like material selection, manufacturing processes, and environmental constraints.

- Project Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, coordinating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects stay within scope and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams,



including electrical engineers, manufacturing, and quality control.

- Prototyping and Testing:

- Oversee the creation of physical prototypes and the testing of design concepts.
- Analyze testing data to validate and refine designs.
- Address design flaws or shortcomings found during testing.

- Documentation and Reporting:

- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all designs, including technical specifications, calculations, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

- Client and Stakeholder Communication:

- Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the design meets requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and explanations to non-technical stakeholders.
