Junior Software Engineer (Java/Spring Boot)

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
2. Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and UX designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
3. Participate in code reviews, contributing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
4. Write unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability and performance.
5. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
6. Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
7. Document technical designs, APIs, and workflows to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
2. 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in software development with Java.
3. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
4. Hands-on knowledge of Spring and/or Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs.
5. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
2. Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM technologies.
3. Exposure to front-end technologies like React or Angular.
4. Understanding of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
5. Contributions to open-source projects or personal coding projects on GitHub.
