Global leader in data integrity is Looking for:**** Software Engineer II (Java)

Position Summary

As a Software Engineer II, you will design, develop, test, and maintain core platform capabilities within Spectrum Technology Platform. You will work on highly scalable Java-

based services and components, contribute to product modernization initiatives, and help incorporate AI-driven engineering practices into the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a strong Java developer who is passionate about building enterprise-

grade software and actively embraces AI technologies to improve engineering productivity,

software quality, and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

 Design, implement, and maintain core Spectrum platform capabilities and services.

 Develop high-performance Java applications used by enterprise customers globally.

 Participate in architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment activities.

 Contribute to platform modernization, scalability, security, and performance initiatives.

 Build and maintain REST APIs, service integrations, and distributed processing components.

 Diagnose and resolve complex customer and production issues.

 Collaborate with Product Management, QA, Support, DevOps, Documentation, and

Architecture teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Technical Excellence

 Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

 Participate in peer code reviews and technical design discussions.

 Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.

 Investigate performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and scalability challenges.

 Ensure compliance with secure coding practices and product security standards.





AI Adoption and Innovation

 Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot,

and related technologies to improve engineering productivity.

 Apply AI techniques to accelerate development, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation activities.

 Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to enhance Spectrum products and engineering processes.

 Participate in proof-of-concepts involving Generative AI, MCP (Model Context

Protocol), AI agents, LLMs, and intelligent automation.

 Demonstrate the ability to effectively utilize AI while maintaining engineering quality,

security, and accountability.

Required Qualifications  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

 3-6 years of software development experience.

 Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles.

 Experience developing enterprise-scale applications and services.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to work effectively within agile development teams.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Technical Skills Java Proficiency (Must Have)

Candidates should demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in:

 Core Java

 Collections Framework

 Concurrency and Multithreading

 JVM internals and memory management

 Exception handling and secure coding practices

 Java 17+ (Java 21 experience is a plus)

 Spring Boot and Spring Framework

 REST API development

 Maven and build management

 Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

Candidates should demonstrate

 Practical understanding of Generative AI concepts.

 Working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).

 Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft

Copilot.

 Ability to use AI tools for code generation, debugging, testing, documentation, and productivity improvements.

 Understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals.

 Awareness of responsible AI principles, security considerations, and data privacy implications of AI usage.
