Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms, ensuring consistency with each client’s brand voice and objectives. Day-to-day tasks include managing social media calendars, coordinating with designers and copywriters, monitoring performance metrics, and optimizing campaigns for reach and engagement.

The Social Media

Manager will also respond to audience interactions, track trends, and provide regular reports and insights to internal teams and clients.



Collaboration with the marketing and branding teams to align social media activities with overall campaign goals is a key part of this position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to plan and execute effective campaigns.
- Candidates should possess solid Content Strategy and Writing skills to develop engaging and brand-aligned social media content.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to coordinate with clients and internal teams and manage online interactions.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube) and basic analytics tools.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple projects.
- Prior experience in a digital marketing or creative agency workplace is beneficial.
- A relevant degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred.
