Job Summary

About the role You'll build and tune ServiceNow Discovery patterns, Service Mapping scripts, Event Management correlation rules and MID Server integrations. You'll work closely with infrastructure and network teams to validate discovery accuracy and improve CMDB data quality.

Responsibilities

- Author and maintain Discovery patterns, probes and sensors

- Write and maintain Service Mapping scripts

- Build Event Management correlation rules

- Configure and troubleshoot MID Server integrations

- Work directly with infrastructure/network teams to validate discovery accuracy

- Document patterns clearly to support long-term ownership and knowledge transfer





Requirements

- CIS-Discovery or CIS-Event Management level scripting ability

- Understanding of network and infrastructure discovery protocols

- Comfortable working with MID Servers and credential-based discovery

- Experience diagnosing CMDB data-quality issues at the scripting level

Desirable

- Direct experience remediating known CMDB data-quality problems

- AIOps/event correlation exposure beyond native ServiceNow tooling
