Role: Senior QA Engineer - Logistics Technology (SaaS)

Location: Pune (Corporate Office)

Role context and purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong logistics domain expertise and hands-on experience in manual testing, automation, API testing, integration testing, and database validation.

The role involves ensuring quality across web, mobile, backend services, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations, with a strong focus on complex logistics workflows, real-world scenarios, edge cases, and end-to-end validation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Test web, mobile, APIs, backend services, and third-party integrations across different roles and business scenarios.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for web, API, and mobile applications; identify suitable automation opportunities and improve regression coverage.
- Perform API testing using Postman, including request/response validation, authentication, payloads, error handling, assertions, and regression testing.
- Validate frontend, mobile, backend, API, and database behaviour, including data accuracy and transaction consistency.
- Test React-based web applications, Flutter-based mobile applications, and Go/Python backend services.
- Validate databases using MariaDB and TiDB, including data flow and transaction-level validation.
- Simulate real-world logistics scenarios covering shipment/order lifecycle, freight planning, trip allocation, dispatch, tracking, delivery, POD, billing, cancellations, rescheduling, and operational exceptions.
- Validate integrations with transporters, logistics partners, customer systems, and external platforms.
- Identify, document, prioritize,



and track defects with clear evidence and impact assessment.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Support teams for defect resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Own QA activities for assigned features/releases, ensuring adequate test coverage and timely sign-off.

What Will You Need?

- B.E./B. Tech or Graduate
- 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in software QA/testing.
- Solid logistics domain expertise, preferably TMS, WMS, freight management, transportation, shipment tracking, or supply chain platforms.
- Strong experience in manual testing and QA automation.
- Experience testing web, mobile, APIs, backend services, and integrations.
- Hands-on testing experience with React and Flutter applications.
- Experience testing Go (Golang) and Python-based APIs/services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Postman.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and E2E testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and complex business-scenario simulation skills.
- Familiarity with Jira and test management tools.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

- Experience using AI tools for E2E and unit-test automation.
- Experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Product Ownership.
- Customer/application support, production issue investigation, or incident management experience.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, automated test execution, and test automation frameworks.
- Exposure to performance, load, and reliability testing.
- Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
