Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, developer tools, and code-generation components. The candidate should have robust Python programming skills, expertise in object-oriented design, and experience in automated testing and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and code-generation components using Python.
- Build reusable, maintainable, and high-quality Python applications and CLI tools.
- Follow OOP principles, SOLID principles, and standard design patterns.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using PyTest.
- Maintain high test coverage and ensure software quality and reliability.
- Use Git for version control, branching, merging, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Integrate automated workflows using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with the MASAR backend team and follow established system architecture and development practices.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Guide team members and promote clean code practices and industry-standard software development.

Must-Have Skills
- Advanced Python: Strong experience developing Python applications, backend services, and CLI tools.
- OOP & Design Patterns:



Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Testing: Hands-on experience with PyTest, unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
- Git & CI/CD: Experience with Git workflows, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Code Generation: Experience developing or working with code-generation templates, parsers, compilers, or similar backend components.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Python and Angular development.
- Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI)-based test automation.
- Familiarity with TypeScript or VS Code Extension APIs.
- Knowledge of the MASAR ecosystem, including Bodas Studio and MASAR-Config.
- Understanding of requirements engineering and software documentation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Knowledge of the PEP process.

Education & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication (E&C;) or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- 8+ years of experience in Python-based tools development and GenAI, as specified in the requirement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, solve problems, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
