Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications that meet business and technical requirements.
2. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate user stories into scalable solutions.
3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices in software engineering and object-oriented design.
4. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
6. Implement automated tests and participate in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes.
7. Contribute to architectural decisions and help define technical roadmaps for new and existing products.
8. Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

3–10 years of professional experience developing enterprise-grade applications in Java.
3. Solid proficiency with Java SE/EE and frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
4. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.
5. Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
6. Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
7. Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
8. Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and test-driven development.
9. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum or Kanban teams.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with microservice architectures and event-driven systems.
2. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
3. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
4. Exposure to message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or streaming technologies.
5. Understanding of front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue) for full-stack collaboration.
6. Prior experience in high-traffic, high-availability product environments.
7. Certification in Java, AWS, or related technologies.
