R&D; Engineer - GTI

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop hardware circuits for Grid-Tied Inverters, including power stage and control circuits.

- Select and validate key components such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, capacitors, magnetics, and protection devices.

- Develop PCB layouts considering high-frequency switching, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal management.

- Perform hardware validation, functional testing, and debugging of power electronics circuits.

- Optimize efficiency, power factor correction, and harmonic reduction techniques.

- Ensure compliance with international safety and grid standards such as IEEE 1547, UL 1741, IEC 62109, and IEC 61727.

- Work closely with firmware and software teams for hardware-software integration.

- Conduct failure analysis and implement design improvements based on test results.

- Collaborate with manufacturing teams for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) improvements.

- Prepare design documentation, BOMs, and technical reports for review and approvals.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in power electronics and inverter design.
