The History Department at seeking a full-time, tenure-track Professor of History to join our dynamic and growing department. The successful candidate will have a PhD in History and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research.

Responsibilities:

- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of History
- Maintain an active research program and publish in scholarly journals and books
- Advise and mentor students, including supervising undergraduate and graduate thesis projects
- Participate in departmental and institutional service, such as serving on committees, advising student organizations, and contributing to curriculum development




- Seek external funding to support research and other scholarly activities
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in national and international conferences

Qualifications:

- A PhD in History or a related field
- A strong record of research and publication in the field of History
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentorship
- The ability to work effectively in a collaborative and supportive environment
