Install, set up, and configure network and standalone printers, scanners, and multifunction devices (MFDs)

- Ensure compatibility with plant systems and network environments.
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues (e.g., paper jams, roller failures, fuser errors, etc.)
- Resolve software problems, including driver issues, printing queue errors, and network connectivity
- Handle firmware updates and printer resets.
- Perform preventive maintenance on printers and related devices to avoid downtime
- Regularly check printer performance and consumable levels (toners, drums, etc.)
- Maintain service logs and equipment history
- Assist plant staff with printer operations and minor issues
- Train users on printer functions, including scan-to-email, duplex printing, and secure print options etc.

- Perform basic network cabling, patching, and connectivity checks for networked printers




- Work with IT/network teams to ensure printers are properly mapped and connected
- Track printer assets, serial numbers, and deployment locations
- Manage inventory of printer consumables and spare parts
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection guidelines (especially for printers with memory).
- Document incidents, repairs, and configurations for audits and future reference.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors and suppliers for L2/L3 support related calls and provide regular update to the Team lead or OPaL EIC in-charge.
- Coordinate with Managed Printing Service vendor on escalated issues for resolution on time-to-time basis.
- Coordinate with Managed Printing Service vendor for regular PM activity & verify print counting for heavy duty MFP on monthly basis as single point of contact (SPOC).
- Liaise with IT or operations teams for recent deployments and relocations of printers.
