What we are looking for

Role: PostgreSQL Database Administrator

Experience Range: 5 to 8 Years

Location: Chennai/Hyderabad

Must-Have :

- Strong experience administering mission-critical PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments.
- Hands-on expertise with on-premises PostgreSQL and Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server.
- Experience implementing high availability and disaster recovery using streaming replication, logical replication, read replicas, and point-in-time recovery.
- Robust knowledge of backup, recovery, monitoring, performance analysis, and database tuning.
- Experience managing database security,



access controls, and compliance requirements, including SOX and CIS Benchmarks.
- Ability to handle incidents, root-cause analysis, operational governance, and production support.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Good-to-Have :

- Experience using Terraform for database infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID integration and identity-based database access.
- Exposure to enterprise backup and recovery tools.

Experience with advanced PostgreSQL monitoring and performance-tuning tools.
