Key Responsibilities

Order Planning &

- Coordination

- Interpret management requirements accurately and communicate them clearly to all internal departments.

- Prepare and maintain style-wise order trackers, production timelines, and delivery schedules.

- Coordinate with Planning, Cutting, Production, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth execution.

- Monitor the progress of every order and proactively address any delays or bottlenecks.

Product Development &

- Sampling

- Coordinate development samples, fit samples, PP samples, and production samples.

- Ensure samples are developed as per approved specifications and within the required timeline.

- Track sample approvals and communicate feedback to the relevant teams.

Material Sourcing &

- Procurement

- Liaise with fabric mills, trim suppliers, printers, embroiderers, and other vendors for timely procurement.

- Follow up on fabric, accessories, labels, packing materials, and other production inputs.

- Verify that all materials conform to approved specifications before production.

Production Follow-up

- Monitor daily production status against the production plan.

- Coordinate with production teams to resolve issues affecting output or delivery.

- Ensure production milestones are achieved within the planned schedule.

Supplier Management

- Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding order status, delivery commitments, and quality requirements.

- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely material availability.

- Escalate delays or quality concerns to management promptly.

Quality Coordination

- Work closely with the Quality team to ensure products meet approved specifications.

- Coordinate corrective actions for quality issues identified during sampling or production.

- Ensure product development and bulk production consistently meet company quality standards.

Documentation &

- Reporting

- Maintain complete records of purchase orders, approvals, supplier communications, and production updates.





- Prepare periodic reports on order status, material availability, production progress, and dispatch schedules.

- Ensure all merchandising documentation is accurate and updated.

Dispatch Coordination

- Coordinate with the Dispatch and Stores teams to ensure orders are packed and dispatched according to schedule.

- Verify that all required documents are completed before shipment.

- Track dispatch status and communicate updates to management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- On-time material procurement.

- On-time sample submission and approval.

- Order completion within committed timelines.

- Production schedule adherence.

- Supplier delivery performance.

- Reduction in production delays caused by material shortages.

- Accuracy of merchandising documentation.

- Customer/order fulfilment performance.

- Internal coordination efficiency.

- Quality compliance during product development and production.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion, Textile, Apparel, Merchandising, or a related field.

- 2–5 years of merchandising experience in a garment manufacturing company.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production tracking tools.

- Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, fabrics, trims, and production planning.
