Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Coding role based in Moradabad.

The Medical

Coder will review clinical documentation and assign accurate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services in accordance with established coding standards and payer requirements. The role includes validating coded data for completeness and consistency, working closely with clinical and administrative teams to clarify documentation, and helping ensure proper billing and reimbursement processes.

Coder will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and relevant regulations,



support internal audits, and contribute to continuous improvement of health information practices.

Qualifications

- Coding and classification skills, including Medical Coding and Coding Experience.
- Foundational health information knowledge, such as Health Information Management and RHIT or equivalent credential.
- Clinical language proficiency, including strong Medical Terminology and understanding of common diagnoses and procedures.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to interpret and analyze medical records.
- Familiarity with billing and reimbursement processes, and basic knowledge of healthcare compliance standards.
- Proficiency with coding software and electronic health record systems, and comfort working with data and spreadsheets.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
