Purpose/Objective

The Head Technology will provide strategic and technical leadership for battery cell technology development, product innovation, manufacturing technology, and future technology roadmaps.

The role will drive end-to-end battery cell technology development, including chemistry selection, cell design, process innovation, product validation, technology transfer, and localization initiatives while ensuring alignment with business objectives, quality standards, and industry advancements.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Define and execute the long-term technology roadmap for battery cells and energy storage solutions.
- Identify emerging battery technologies, materials, and manufacturing innovations.
- Drive R&D; initiatives for next-generation lithium-ion and advanced battery chemistries.
- Establish technology partnerships with research institutes, universities, and global technology providers.
- Lead intellectual property development, patents, and technology differentiation initiatives.




- Oversee development of Cylindrical, Prismatic, and Pouch Cell technologies.
- Guide cell chemistry selection, electrode design, electrolyte optimization, and performance enhancement.
- Establish performance benchmarks for energy density, cycle life, safety, and cost.
- Drive technology transfer from laboratory development to commercial-scale manufacturing.

Qualifications and Experience

E.

/B.

Tech in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.

- M.

Tech/MS preferred.

- PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Energy Storage, or Battery Technology is highly desirable.
