Purpose/Objective

To lead the planning, design, development, and execution of landscape architecture and outdoor environment strategies across residential, commercial, mixed-use, township, and integrated development projects.

The role is responsible for creating sustainable, aesthetically appealing, and functional landscapes that enhance project value, customer experience, environmental performance, and brand identity while ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Landscape Design & Planning - Lead the conceptualization, design development, and detailing of landscape designs for real estate projects.

- Develop landscape master plans, thematic landscapes, streetscapes, podium gardens, parks, recreational zones, and public realm spaces.
- Ensure landscape designs align with overall architectural vision, project objectives, and customer expectations.
- Review design concepts and ensure consistency across multiple projects.

Design Coordination - Coordinate with architects, urban planners, consultants, MEP teams, structural teams, and project stakeholders for integrated design solutions.

- Manage and review consultant deliverables, drawings, presentations, and material specifications.
- Ensure seamless integration of landscape elements with building design and infrastructure planning.

Project Execution & Quality Control - Monitor implementation of landscape works at project sites and provide design support during execution.

- Conduct site inspections to ensure design intent, quality standards, material specifications, and workmanship are maintained.
- Resolve design and execution challenges through practical and creative solutions.
- Review mock-ups, samples, and installation methodologies.

Sustainability & Environmental Design - Promote sustainable landscape practices, water-efficient irrigation systems, native planting strategies, and environmental conservation measures.

- Integrate green infrastructure, biodiversity enhancement, rainwater management, and climate-responsive landscape solutions.




- Support sustainability certifications and green building initiatives.

Vendor & Consultant Management - Identify, evaluate, and manage landscape consultants, contractors, nurseries, and specialist vendors.

- Review technical proposals, BOQs, design estimates, and material specifications.
- Ensure timely delivery of design and execution milestones.

Budgeting & Cost Optimization - Participate in landscape budgeting and cost planning exercises.

- Optimize landscape solutions while maintaining design quality and project objectives.
- Review value engineering proposals and recommend effective alternatives.

Innovation & Best Practices - Keep abreast of emerging landscape design trends, materials, technologies, and sustainability practices.

- Introduce innovative landscape concepts that enhance user experience and project differentiation.
- Develop and maintain landscape design standards and guidelines across projects.

Stakeholder Management - Present design concepts and recommendations to senior management and business stakeholders.

- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Projects, CRM, and Development teams to support project positioning and customer engagement.
- Support project approvals and client presentations where required.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Planning, or related discipline.

- Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or Environmental Planning will be preferred.

Experience - 8–12 years of experience in landscape architecture and design for large-scale real estate, township, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

- Proven experience in managing landscape design from concept to execution.
- Exposure to large integrated developments and premium residential projects is preferred.
- Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary design and project teams.
