Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Lead to lead development activities, design scalable applications, guide developers, and ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and database technologies, along with hands-on development and team leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, testing and deployment of Java-based applications.
- Develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Design, develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Review code, enforce coding standards and ensure application quality.
- Guide and mentor developers and coordinate daily development activities.
- Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, architects and project managers.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks and production defects.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design and effort estimation.
- Ensure application security, scalability, maintainability and performance.
- Support CI/CD processes and application deployments.

Required Technical Skills

- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Robust knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts,



Collections and Multithreading.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Framework.
- Experience developing Microservices and REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of Hibernate / JPA.
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Git, Maven or Gradle.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito and unit testing.
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Good problem-solving, communication and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure or another cloud platform.
- Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of Redis, performance tuning and distributed systems.

Leadership Responsibilities

- Lead a small team of Java developers and support technical decision-making.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Track development progress and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical dependencies.
- Promote coding best practices and continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
