Java Developer - Marketing Technology

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic Marketing department. In this role, you will craft robust, scalable Java applications that empower our marketing teams with data-driven insights and automated workflows. Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain Java applications that support marketing automation, campaign management, and analytics.
2. Collaborate closely with marketers, designers, and data analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
3. Integrate third-party APIs, CRM platforms, and data sources to streamline lead generation and customer engagement processes.
4. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security to ensure high availability during peak campaign periods.
5. Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and adhere to best practices for clean, maintainable code.
6. Contribute to Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and work in sprints to deliver incremental value.
7. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
8. Create and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

1.



Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3–10 years of qualified experience in Java development.
3. Strong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented design principles, and multithreading.
4. Hands-on experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Jakarta EE.
5. Proficient in building RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
6. Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
7. Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
8. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
2. Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deploying and scaling applications.
3. Exposure to front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, or Angular for full-stack development.
4. Understanding of data analytics, ETL pipelines, or big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark).
5. Professional certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer, AWS Developer Associate).
