Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable quick, reliable software delivery
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve developer experience
- Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, participating in on-call rotations as needed
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and runbooks
- Drive continuous improvement in deployment frequency, lead time, and system reliability

Skills and Tools Required

- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and scalable architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
