Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Analyst at Taxcart.
The Business
Analyst will gather, document, and validate business requirements for tax automation features and integrations. Daily responsibilities include analyzing data and business processes, mapping workflows, and translating stakeholder needs into clear functional specifications. The role involves collaborating with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to refine solutions, support implementation, and ensure that system behavior aligns with regulatory and business requirements.
The Business
Analyst will also contribute to process improvements,
create documentation, and support testing and user acceptance activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and drive fact-based recommendations.
- Candidates should possess Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to gather, document, and translate stakeholder needs into clear specifications.
- Candidates should possess Business Process skills to map, optimize, and improve workflows across systems and teams.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
- Experience working with SaaS, fintech, tax, or ERP systems is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with requirements management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
