Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Dhanbad.

The Chartered

Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. The role includes handling statutory compliances such as GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings, while ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards. The professional will prepare budgets, monitor cash flow, support internal controls, and assist management with financial analysis and reporting.

The Chartered

Accountant will also coordinate with auditors, support year-end closing,



and provide financial insights to guide decision-making for mining and metals operations.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid membership in the relevant professional body.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and corporate taxation applicable in India.
- Experience with budgeting, cash flow management, cost analysis, and financial planning in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial modeling.
- Understanding of statutory compliances, including GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory requirements for mining and metals businesses.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, implement internal controls, and support audits and internal reviews.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and capability to present financial data clearly to management.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operations, procurement, and senior leadership teams on-site.
- Prior experience in mining, metals, or related heavy industry sectors will be an advantage.
