Plant Capacity- 35 MW WHRB boiler Thermal Power Plant

Location- Goa

Required Qualification- B.E/ B.Tech with 5 yrs or Diploma with 7 yrs exp. in power plants.

- Monitor WHRB, turbine, and generator parameters through DCS/SCADA systems.
- Ensure secure operation of steam generation, pressure, temperature, and flow.
- Track turbine load, speed, vibration, and generator performance.
- Maintain operating parameters within design limits.
- Supervise steam drum levels, feedwater flow, superheater temperatures, etc.
- Monitor flue gas conditions and heat recovery efficiency.
- Coordinate soot blowing and other boiler cleaning operations.
- Detect abnormalities like pressure drops,



temperature deviations, or tube leak indications.
- Monitor turbine startup, shutdown, and loading sequences.
- Track generator voltage, current, power factor, and synchronization.
- Identify issues such as overheating, vibrations, or instability.
- Coordinate with field operators during operational adjustments.
- Respond promptly to system alarms and trips.
- Analyze trends to predict potential failures.
- Guide field engineers/operators for corrective actions.
- Record and report critical events.
- Communicate instructions to shift operators / field engineers.
- Assist during equipment startups, shutdowns, and emergencies.
- Ensure operational procedures are followed.
