Essential Qualification:

M.Sc/ M.Tech in any life science or biotechnology field combined with a completed Ph.D.

Desirable Qualification:

Post-doctoral experience in the relevant field.

Specialization areas:

Biomedical Genetics, molecular biology, genetic engineering, Genetic Counselling, Cancer Bioinformatics, Bioinformatics with a specialisation in medical microbiology and Food Science and Technology/ Nutritional sciences, Microbial technology.

The Assistant Professor Research positions in VIT aim to enhance the Research and Innovation eco system by attracting young exceptionally talented scientists and engineers with diverse background to work on challenging and frontier areas. It provides a platform for the development of future science and technology leaders.

Responsibilities:

- Assistant Professor Research is expected to involve in high quality research which shall appear as tangible output that includes Publications in Journals of high-repute, Patents, Copyrights, Product development, etc.
- Internal project funding support for your research ideas.
