Job Title: Accountant

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant with at least 2 years of professional experience to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. The ideal candidate possesses robust technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of standard accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team onsite.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and monthly expenses.

Prepare and process accurate journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely billing and collections.

Support payroll administration and verify expense reports for compliance with company policy.





Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between budgeted and actual figures.

Assist with tax preparation, regulatory filings, and external audit requests.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve internal accounting controls and streamline processes.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2+ years of proven experience working as an accountant or in a similar financial role.

Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, and laws.

Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Tally, or Xero.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis formulas.

Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain financial data clearly to non-finance teams.
