Role Description This is a full-time Ab Initio Developer – Live Data Streaming role based in Bengaluru, offered in a hybrid work model with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Ab Initio-based ETL workflows and live data streaming solutions to support enterprise data integration needs. The developer will build and optimize data pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Day-to-day tasks include performance tuning, troubleshooting data flow issues, ensuring data quality and reliability, and contributing to documentation, testing,



and deployment activities. The role also requires staying current with best practices in data engineering and participating in code reviews and process improvements.

Qualifications

- 6+ Strong Extract Transform Load (ETL) and ETL Tools skills, including hands-on experience with Ab Initio for batch and real-time data processing.
- Data Integration and Data Modeling skills to design scalable, maintainable data flows and structures for analytics and operational systems.
- Analytical Skills to interpret complex data requirements, diagnose issues in data pipelines, and optimize performance.
- Experience with live data streaming architectures and event-driven data processing in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational databases; exposure to big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Kafka) is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in large-scale data warehousing or analytics projects and an understanding of data quality, governance, and security best practices.
