We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SOMT Architect with strong expertise in Telecom Service Management, telecom order management, and end-to-end solution architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and implementing ServiceNow SOMT solutions for telecom and fiber services, including Quote-to-Order, Order-to-Fulfillment, provisioning, billing, and service lifecycle management. The candidate should also possess practical experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), including project and portfolio management, project tasks, dependencies, milestones, epics, and delivery tracking. The role requires the ability to design scalable enterprise solutions, define integrations across telecom and enterprise systems, and recommend standard ServiceNow capabilities wherever possible while minimizing unnecessary customization.

Key Responsibilities
1. Telecom SOMT Architecture
• Design end-to-end ServiceNow SOMT architecture for telecom and fiber services.
• Architect Quote-to-Order, Order-to-Fulfillment, Provisioning, Billing, and Closure processes.
• Design and optimize New Order and MACD (Move, Add, Change, Disconnect) lifecycle processes.
• Define Product, Service, and Resource relationships across the telecom service lifecycle.
• Design reusable, scalable, and maintainable telecom fulfillment patterns.
• Define integrations with external systems, including CRM, CPQ, Billing, Inventory, Network/OSS, and ERP.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and telecom order and service lifecycle processes. 2. ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
• Design solutions using ServiceNow SPM capabilities to support telecom implementation and delivery initiatives.
• Leverage SPM Project and Project Portfolio Management capabilities for project planning, execution, and tracking.




• Define and manage project charters, projects, project tasks, dependencies, milestones, planned versus actual dates, and project status tracking.
• Utilize SPM Epics and related functionality to manage business initiatives and delivery requirements.
• Align SOMT order and service lifecycle processes with SPM project and delivery management capabilities.
• Define the appropriate boundaries between standard SPM functionality, SOMT capabilities, and custom extensions.
• Recommend out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities wherever possible while minimizing unnecessary customization. 3. Solution Architecture and Integration
• Develop end-to-end solution architecture, functional architecture, technical designs, and integration specifications.
• Define data flows and integrations between SOMT, SPM, CRM, CPQ, Billing, OSS/BSS, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
• Identify gaps between standard ServiceNow capabilities and business requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Ensure architecture designs are scalable, reusable, secure, and maintainable.
• Follow ServiceNow architecture principles and implementation best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and enterprise architects to translate requirements into effective solution designs.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout solution development, integration, and delivery. Required Skills and Experience




• 9+ years of relevant experience, with 10+ years of overall IT/Solution Architecture experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow, particularly SOMT / Telecom Service Management.
• Proven experience designing telecom/fiber Quote-to-Order and Order-to-Cash or Order-to-Fulfillment solutions.
• Strong understanding of MACD processes and telecom product/service lifecycle management.
• Practical experience with ServiceNow SPM, including Projects, Project Tasks, Dependencies, Milestones, Epics, and portfolio/project tracking.
• Experience determining when to use standard ServiceNow SPM/SOMT functionality versus custom development.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow integrations and enterprise solution architecture.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with CRM, CPQ, Billing, OSS/BSS, ERP, inventory, and network systems.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, requirements analysis, solutioning, and presales skills.
• Ability to develop architecture documentation and communicate technical solutions to business and technical stakeholders. Key Competencies
