Compensation: Open to negotiation I'm currently looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a global environmental and sustainability consulting organisation that is investing in its modern data platform. The role is ideal for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong Azure Data Factory (ADF) expertise and hands-on exposure to Microsoft Fabric. ?

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.
• Build and maintain data engineering solutions using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
• Work with Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and data integration architectures.
• Develop and optimise SQL and Python-based data transformations.
• Support data quality, governance, metadata management and data lineage.
• Contribute to real-time data ingestion and modern data platform development.




• Collaborate with data architects, analytics teams and business stakeholders. ? Key Skills & Experience ✅ Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) ✅ Experience with Microsoft Fabric – production experience preferred ✅ Strong SQL and Python skills ✅ Data pipelines, ETL/ELT and data warehousing ✅ Understanding of semantic models and data modelling ✅ Experience with real-time data ingestion ✅ Familiarity with dbt and Microsoft Fabric Activator is desirable ✅ Strong problem-solving and communication skills ?
