The cashier will handle customer transactions, operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process cash, card, and digital payments, and issue receipts accurately. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, answering basic inquiries, maintaining an organized checkout area, and ensuring that all transactions follow company policies. The role also involves balancing the cash drawer, reporting discrepancies, and coordinating with the store or operations team to support smooth daily activities.
