• Experience with firewalls and load balancers, e.g. Cisco, FortiGate, Illumio (virtual firewall technology), NetScaler or AVI
• Relevant IT or network certifications, e.g. CCNA
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios or Sensu
• Experience in monitoring setup and instrumentation using Checkly
• Ability to remotely connect to and perform maintenance checks on Windows and Linux servers
