Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Agency Development Manager role based in Cuttack. The incumbent will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring agency partners and advisors to drive health insurance sales and expand the agency network. Daily activities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance against targets, and providing regular training and support to improve product knowledge and selling skills. The role involves building robust relationships with partners, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines,



and collaborating with internal teams to resolve operational issues and support business growth. The Agency Development Manager will also analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and prepare reports for management on agency performance and local market developments. Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in agency or channel development, including recruitment, training, and performance management of advisors or partners.
• Strong sales and business development abilities, with experience in target achievement, pipeline management, and market expansion, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills for engaging with agency partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Capability in basic data analysis and reporting to track productivity, forecast business, and support decision-making.
• Working knowledge of health insurance products and regulatory requirements, or willingness to quickly learn and adapt in this domain.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and CRM or sales management systems to manage leads, performance, and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in business, finance, or marketing is an advantage.
• Prior experience in agency management, sales management, or field sales roles, ideally in insurance or related sectors.
• Ability to work from the Cuttack location, travel locally as needed, and operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
