Role Description The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, in office role based at Amrutam’s facility in Gwalior. This role supports the Quality Assurance Manager in implementing and monitoring quality standards across all stages of production, from raw material sourcing to finished goods. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with the development and enforcement of SOPs, overseeing routine inspections, conducting product and process audits, and maintaining accurate quality documentation. The role involves coordinating with manufacturing, R&D;, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality benchmarks.



The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager also helps investigate non-conformities, supports corrective and preventive actions, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that uphold Amrutam’s commitment to authentic, safe, and effective Ayurvedic products. Qualifications
• GMP & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Schedule T, applicable AYUSH/FDA requirements, hygiene standards, and approved manufacturing procedures.
• Raw Material Quality: Verify raw materials, supplier documentation, COAs, and testing compliance before use.
• In-Process Quality Control: Monitor critical manufacturing stages, traditional Ayurvedic processes, and compliance with Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
• Batch Documentation & Release: Review BMRs, QC reports, and batch records; ensure documented QA approval before product release.
• Packaging & Labelling: Verify packaging material quality, label accuracy, and packaging integrity.
• Deviation & CAPA Management: Investigate deviations, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and resolve customer complaints within defined timelines.
• SOP & Training Management: Maintain and update SOPs, conduct GMP training, and assess training effectiveness.
• Audits & Licensing: Maintain audit readiness, ensure regulatory documentation, and track statutory licences and renewals.
