About Us
Resollect is a Mumbai-based startup fixing how debt recovery works in India. We work with banks, asset reconstruction companies (ARCs) and NBFCs, and the industry has been stuck with clunky, manual processes for far too long. We're changing that by combining legal processes (SARFAESI, Sec 13(2), Sec 14, DRT) with smart automation, clean design, and AI that actually does something useful. We're a small, founder-led team with deep domain expertise, and we move fast. The Role We're looking for a Financial Manager to own Resollect's finance function end to end. You'll be the person the founder trusts with the numbers: what we've billed, what we've collected, what we owe, what we can afford, and what's coming due. You'll lead our Finance Analyst, manage our external CA and auditors, and build the systems that let a small finance team run like a much bigger one. We're big on AI here. We don't want someone who does repetitive work by hand. We want someone who reaches for AI first, builds their own small tools, writes their own prompts, and automates the boring stuff out of existence.

What You'll Do
Own the finance function. Accounting, invoicing, payments, payroll inputs and month-end close. Run compliance with zero surprises. GST, TDS, PF, ESI, professional tax, ROC and income tax, working with our external CA. Own cash. Maintain a rolling cash-flow forecast, drive collections from banks, NBFCs and ARCs, and run vendor and advocate payment cycles. Build MIS the founder actually uses. Monthly P&L;, client
- and mandate-level profitability, receivables ageing, and budget vs actuals. Lead audits.



Statutory and tax audits, plus any investor or lender due diligence. Support fundraising and board reporting. Financial models, investor updates and data rooms. Set up controls and automation. Approval flows, Tally / Zoho Books workflows, and AI to cut manual reconciliation. Partner on commercials. Pricing, billing terms and invoicing against client mandates and work orders. What We're Looking For CA (or CMA / MBA Finance with strong accounting) with 3–7 years of experience, ideally including time as the finance lead at a startup or SME. Deep, hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting standards, and the GST and income tax portals. You've built MIS and cash-flow reporting from scratch and are strong in Excel, Tally and / or Zoho Books. High ownership. You close loops yourself and can manage one person plus an external CA firm. AI-curious. You're keen to use AI and automation to make finance faster, not just more accurate. Nice to Have (Not Required) Exposure to BFSI, NBFC or ARC clients, or a receivables-heavy B2B business Experience with a fundraise, investor reporting or due diligence Experience setting up a finance function or ERP from scratch Why This Might Be Worth Your Time You'll build the finance function of a rapid-growing startup, not inherit a rigid one. You'll work directly with the founder and have real visibility into business decisions. There's a clear path to Head of Finance as the company scales.
