3–6 Years Industry: Beauty, Skincare, Cosmetics & D2C Job SummaryWe are looking for a creative and performance-driven Video Editor with prior experience in the beauty, skincare, or cosmetics industry to create engaging, conversion-focused video ads for Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook). The candidate must possess strong video editing skills, creative visualisation abilities, and the capability to translate advertising copy into compelling video concepts. They should also be proficient in writing precise, structured prompts for AI video-generation tools to produce visuals that align with the creative brief, product requirements, and brand aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities
• Edit high-impact video ads for Meta Ads, including Instagram Reels, Stories, and Feed placements.
• Create performance-driven videos for product launches, promotional campaigns, and customer acquisition.
• Convert advertising copy, hooks, scripts, and campaign briefs into compelling visual stories.
• Write detailed and effective prompts for AI video-generation tools, specifying scenes, camera angles, lighting, product movement, textures, backgrounds, transitions, and visual style.
• Generate, evaluate, and refine AI-assisted video outputs to achieve the intended creative direction.
• Combine AI-generated footage with original footage, product shots, UGC, influencer content, and motion graphics.
• Create multiple creative variations with different hooks, pacing, visuals, and CTAs for A/B testing.
• Develop product demonstrations, skincare routines, texture shots, application videos, ingredient-led visuals, and beauty-focused storytelling.
• Ensure product appearance, packaging, colours, labels, and visual details remain as accurate and consistent as possible.
• Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Creative Strategy, Influencer Marketing, and Brand teams.




• Incorporate campaign feedback and performance insights to improve video creatives.
• Deliver high-quality creatives within defined timelines and maintain consistency with brand guidelines. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
• 3–6 years of professional video editing experience.
• Prior experience in beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or personal care brands is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
• Experience with AI video-generation tools and the ability to write effective prompts to generate specific visual outcomes.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, lighting, colour, pacing, sound design, and transitions.
• Ability to independently visualise copy and translate it into video concepts and storyboards.
• Experience creating video ads for Meta platforms.
• Strong portfolio/showreel showcasing beauty or cosmetics videos, performance ads, and preferably AI-generated video work. Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with AI video-generation platforms such as Runway, Kling, Veo, or similar tools.
• Experience with UGC ads, influencer videos, product demonstrations, and beauty tutorials.
• Understanding of Meta Ads metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS.
• Ability to combine AI-generated visuals with hands-on editing and post-production.
• Strong creative judgement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
