Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lending Specialist role based in Chennai. The Lending Specialist will evaluate loan applications, assess creditworthiness, and perform underwriting activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role involves interacting with clients to understand their financial needs, explaining loan products and terms, and guiding them through the application and approval process.



The Lending Specialist will provide high-quality customer service, resolve queries, and ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of loans. Daily responsibilities also include collaborating with internal teams, monitoring loan performance and risk, and maintaining detailed records in the company’s systems. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid Finance and Loans knowledge to analyze client needs, explain products, and support lending decisions.
• Candidates should possess Underwriting expertise to assess credit risk, review documentation, and make sound lending recommendations.
• Relevant experience in retail or consumer lending, banking, or financial services is beneficial.
• Ability to work with financial software and CRM tools, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
