Role Description The SAP Datasphere Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the enterprise data foundation for the Working Capital Analytics platform. The role focuses on data integration, data modeling, transformation development, automation, and data governance within SAP Datasphere. The developer will work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver a scalable, high-performance, and trusted analytics platform supporting Working Capital, Cash Flow, Treasury, and Finance reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Data Integration & Engineering
• Design and develop data ingestion frameworks using SAP Datasphere.
• Build and maintain Replication Flows, Data Flows, Transformation Flows, and Task Chains.
• Implement initial and delta data loading strategies from SAP BW/BWBI, SAC planning models and other approved source systems.
• Monitor and optimize data loads to ensure performance, reliability, and data consistency. Data Modeling
• Design and maintain business-oriented data models and semantic layers.




• Develop graphical and SQL views supporting Working Capital KPIs.
• Create reusable models that can be consumed by reporting and analytics teams.
• Implement standardized dimensions, hierarchies, and master data structures. Performance Optimization
• Analyze and optimize data models, transformations, and task chains.
• Improve query performance and data refresh times.
• Troubleshoot data quality, reconciliation, and integration issues.
• Implement best practices for scalability and maintainability. Security & Governance
• Configure data access controls and data access policies (DAC).
• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance standards.
• Support data lineage, auditability, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain development standards and technical documentation. Testing & Deployment
• Participate in design reviews and technical solution validation.
• Perform unit testing and support end-to-end testing activities.
• Support transport management and production deployments.
• Provide hyper-care and post-go-live support. Education, Experience and Skill-set Required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in SAP BW, SAC Planning (Technical), Datasphere, or Data Warehouse development
• Solid hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere data modeling
• Experience building Replication Flows, Data Flows, Transformation Flows, and Task Chains
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills
• Experience SAP BW integration
• Understanding of enterprise data warehousing concepts Preferred Experience
• SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)
• Performance tuning and data optimization
• Agile delivery methodologies
