Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Quality Engineer will oversee quality processes across boiler and power plant products, ensuring adherence to ASME, IBR, and internal quality standards. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing quality plans, inspecting materials and components, monitoring production processes, and conducting root cause analysis for non-conformities. The role involves collaborating with design, production, and service teams to improve product reliability,



documenting quality metrics, and supporting audits and certifications. The Quality Engineer will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, support supplier quality evaluations, and contribute to standard operating procedures and quality documentation. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Management, including planning, implementing, and improving quality systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, with experience in inspections, testing, and monitoring of manufacturing processes.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance, focusing on compliance with standards, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Product Quality, including defect analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and reliability improvement.
• Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in heavy engineering, boilers, or power plant equipment manufacturing is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with ASME and IBR codes, quality tools (e.g., FMEA, control charts, root cause analysis), and ISO-based quality systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, use measurement instruments, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
