Key Responsibilities
• Lead the planning and execution of Azure data engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and define project scope and deliverables.
• Ensure quality control and best practices in data engineering processes.
• Support the team in the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Azure technologies. Skills and Tools Required:




• Extensive experience in data engineering and project management, ideally with a focus on Azure.
• Strong proficiency with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Scala.
• Knowledge of big data technologies and data modeling techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Robust problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project management tools experience (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello).
• Relevant certifications in Azure Data Engineering or Project Management would be a plus.
