About Linewise Linewise works where software meets precision manufacturing. We partner with machine shops around the world and work with a very wide range of real parts — different materials, machines, processes and industries. Our engineering team sets the bar for how those parts are programmed and made, and turns that know-how into better standards and tools. Why this role is different Most CAM roles mean programming the same part families on the same machines for years. Here you'll see a recent problem almost every day: parts from aerospace, medical, automotive and industrial work, programmed by shops on different continents. You'll be the engineer who decides what "good" looks like — and you'll work alongside software engineers, not just the shop floor.

What you'll do
• Program milled parts end to end — 3-axis through 5-axis — in Fusion 360 and Mastercam
• Plan setups, workholding, tooling and operation sequence for parts you've never seen before
• Read posted G-code and simulation results critically, and catch what others miss
• Review CAM work from partner shops and give clear, specific technical feedback
• Turn your experience into written standards, checklists and better ways of working
• Mentor other programmers as the team grows What we're looking for




• 5+ years of hands-on CAM programming on parts that were actually machined
• Strong Fusion 360 Manufacture or Mastercam. If you're expert in NX, hyperMILL or ESPRIT and willing to work in Fusion, apply anyway
• Real 4/5-axis experience
• Confident with G-code across controllers (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Heidenhain) and how post-processors shape it
• Solid drawing reading and GD&T;
• Clear written English — you'll explain technical decisions in writing every day Bonus points
• Machining simulation (Vericut, NCSIMUL, Fusion simulation) or CAM automation, scripting or post-processor editing
• Aerospace, medical or semiconductor-equipment machining
• Experience as a CAM application engineer at a software reseller
• Access to a shop where you can prove out programs
