Role Description The Tax & Audit Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Mysore. The role involves managing direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns, as well as preparing tax computations and supporting clients in tax planning. The executive will perform audit-related procedures such as reviewing financial records, assisting in statutory and internal audits, verifying documentation, and preparing working papers and audit reports. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate books of accounts, reconciling ledgers and tax credits, monitoring regulatory deadlines, coordinating with clients for data and clarifications, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting and tax standards. The role also requires collaboration with senior team members to identify process improvements, support Virtual CFO engagements, and provide clear, professional communication to clients. Qualifications
• Solid knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, income tax), compliance procedures, and basic audit methodologies, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations.
• Robust accounting and bookkeeping capabilities,



including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, financial statement review, and familiarity with accounting standards.
• Proficiency in using accounting and tax software, spreadsheets, and productivity tools to prepare returns, reports, and audit documentation.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing financial data and supporting audit findings.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for client interaction, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Mysore, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate within a professional consulting environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or holding professional qualifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Prior experience or internship exposure in tax, audit, or accounting services with consulting firms or corporate finance teams is beneficial.
