Position Summary: To help drive this next chapter, we're seeking a talented and innovative Senior Software Engineer to join our Digital Services & Support engineering organization. This role develops and supports modern digital applications that power customer-facing experiences across DIRECTV platforms. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions while helping advance technology modernization initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack engineering expertise, a passion for building exceptional digital experiences, and a commitment to software quality, performance, and continuous innovation. Responsibilities:
Software Development:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain customer-facing web applications and digital products.
• Build modern full-stack applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Develop scalable and maintainable services that support business and customer requirements.
• Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices. Application Delivery:
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX teams, Architects, and Engineers to deliver digital solutions.
• Support application modernization and platform enhancement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot application issues and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in Agile planning, sprint execution, and continuous delivery activities. Engineering Excellence:
• Promote software quality, automated testing, and continuous integration practices.
• Support application performance optimization and operational excellence initiatives.
• Contribute to platform reliability, maintainability, and security improvements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications:
Required

Experience:
• 4-6 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building and supporting modern web applications.
