Role Description The Accountant role at Hritwik G & Associates is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, prepare and review financial statements, and ensure proper posting of journal entries and ledgers. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, supporting tax calculations and filings, and assisting with audits and compliance documentation. The role also involves preparing financial reports for internal and client review, maintaining organized records, and coordinating with senior team members and clients to resolve accounting queries. Qualifications




• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
• Candidates should possess skills in using accounting software (e.g., Tally), along with proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
• Candidates should possess abilities in tax computation and compliance, including familiarity with GST, income tax, and other relevant regulations.
• Candidates should possess skills in bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable management, and general ledger maintenance.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
