Role Description The Portfolio Manager role at STFT Finance Private Limited is a full-time position based in Nashik with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. On a day-to-day basis, the Portfolio Manager will oversee a portfolio of loans to micro and small business clients, monitor portfolio performance, and assess credit risk and repayment behavior. The role includes analyzing financial statements and business data, recommending investment and lending decisions, and rebalancing the portfolio to align with risk and return objectives. The Portfolio Manager will collaborate with credit, operations, and collections teams, prepare periodic performance reports,



and contribute to strategies to improve portfolio quality and client outcomes. Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, assess risk, and make data-driven decisions.
• Foundational knowledge of finance, including credit principles, financial statements, and basic valuation concepts.
• Experience or training in portfolio management, including monitoring, rebalancing, and performance tracking of lending or investment portfolios.
• Understanding of investments and trading concepts relevant to managing risk and returns in a lending or financial services context.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, NCFM) are an advantage.
• Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and comfort working with technology and financial software tools.
• Prior experience in NBFCs, banking, or MSME lending will be considered an asset.
