Experience:
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor or Visiting Faculty in English / Soft Skills. 1. Job Summary SKIPS University is looking for a qualified, dynamic, and student-oriented Assistant Professor in English / Soft Skills to teach English language, communication skills, professional etiquette, and personality development. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to enhance students' language proficiency, confidence, and workplace readiness. 2.

Key Responsibilities
• Teach English language, Business Communication, and Soft Skills to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Conduct sessions on spoken English, grammar, vocabulary, presentation skills, and public speaking.
• Train students in group discussions, interview techniques, resume writing, and corporate communication.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct interactive activities, role plays, mock interviews, and personality development sessions.
• Improve students' verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain attendance, academic records, and student performance reports.
• Participate in departmental activities,



academic meetings, workshops, and institutional events.
• Support students in developing professional etiquette, teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills. 3. Educational Qualifications
• Master's degree in English / English Literature or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Candidates pursuing a Ph.
D. or M.
Phil. in English Literature may also be considered, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.
• Strong command of spoken and written English is essential.
• Relevant certifications or training in Soft Skills, Communication Skills, or Personality Development will be an added advantage. 4. Required Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Robust presentation and classroom management abilities.
• Proficiency in English grammar, vocabulary, and language teaching.
• Ability to engage students through interactive teaching methods.
• Good interpersonal skills and a student-focused approach.
• Proficiency in preparing teaching materials and conducting assessments. 5. Experience Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience as an Assistant Professor or Visiting Faculty in English, Communication Skills, or Soft Skills. 6. Compensation and Benefits
